Renewable Taos is pleased to feature Stanley Yuen, a member of Dark Sky New Mexico and a passionate believer in humans staying connected to nature.
This presentation will educate on:
the practical science around light pollution,
the value of dark skies to human health, safety & well-being,
the policies & practices we can adopt Today to reduce light pollution in our communities.
On a side note, International Dark Sky Week will be celebrated this year on April 13-20. This is in conjunction with a new moon and a very late moonrise and the Lyrid meteor shower, which is expected to have the best viewing conditions of any meteor shower this year!
