Roots and Wires Presents is teaming up with Lensic 360 to bring the long awaited return of North Mississippi Hill Country Bluesman Cedric Burnside live from Holly Springs, Mississippi on Saturday February 21st at Daleee.
Cedric has played in Taos five times over the years. He is a grammy winner, leading actor, NEH Award winner, and featured on the Sinners soundtrack. He is the grandson of the notorious RL Burnside and the son of Calvin Jackson, the drummer for Jr. Kimbrough.
This is Roots and Wires Presents’ 32nd show in their infamous “uke Joint Series” that they’ve been presenting here in Taos over the last two decades.
New Mexico’s own and Taos favorite CW Ayon will be opening and closing the show.
Tickets are just $20 in advance at Daleee or they will be $20 cash at the door. Doors and music at 7.
