Interested artists are encouraged to join information sessions to find out more about the Community Arts Fellowship and ask questions. Specific questions about artists’ projects and proposals are welcome. See a list of FAQs below.
About the Fellowship
TCA and partners are offering 6 month multidisciplinary fellowships to individuals or groups in Taos, Rio Arriba, Mora and Colfax Counties.

Accepting proposals for projects in:
- performing and visual arts
- film/video
- literature
- music
- multidisciplinary arts
The program supports artists with:
– $850 per month for 6 months
– access to venues, facilities, and equipment
– opportunity for interdisciplinary exchange, collaboration with fellowship cohort
– technical, administrative, professional, and marketing support for proposed project
FAQ
+ Can I apply as both an individual and with a group? Yes.
+ Can I submit multiple project proposals as an individual? No.
+ Do I need to live in Taos? Fellowships are intended for individuals and groups that live in the following counties: Taos, Rio Arriba, Mora and Colfax Counties.
+ When does the fellowship begin and end? April 2026– December 2026
+ When will I hear if my application has been accepted? – April 10, 2026
+ Who is choosing the projects? A panel that includes partnering organizations, TCA staff, and community members active in the arts.
+ What does the financial support exactly look like? Fellows receive a $850 stipend for 6 months.
