Taos Community of Love (Formerly Unity of Taos)

Siobhan Asgharzadeh will give a talk. One of the maps Siobhan works with is the Celtic Wheel of the Year. Through story, dance, poetry and ritual, participants will be guided into an embodied conversation with Imbolc, the point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox.  No dance experience necessary!
Siobhan has been woven into the healing and ceremonial arts field for over 25 years.  In those years she has worked as a body worker, a birth and death doula, a ceremonial dance facilitator, and a grief support guide. In her work with ceremony, she has cultivated the art of storytelling, working with old myths, legends and fairy tales, and embodiment practices as ritual tools that invite us to connect more deeply with ourselves, our grief, our love, our communities, our ecology and spirit.
