Iron Horse and Summer of the Red Willow

Robby Romero and Robert Mirabal have recently teamed up in music and in cause. The above Iron Horse PSA/Music Video has been released to urge the Town of Taos to revisit the name change of Kit Carson Park to Red Willow Park, and also to start a discussion surrounding the misconceptions and stereotypes of indigenous peoples.

Native Children’s Survival has spearheaded the creation of a petition on Change.org to “Begin the process of reconciliation and change the name of Kit Carson Memorial Park.”
