Drawing from Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell, we will examine the shadow side of our main character to create more fully established villains and rivals worthy of our stories. We will consider examples of literary baddies and what makes them memorable. This class will include generative work that can be used for current or future character development in all your writing, including short fiction, novels and memoirs.
