Keynote Reading for the 4th Annual Taos Writers Conference hosted by SOMOS will be delivered via Zoom by Pam Houston on Friday, 7/24/20, at 7 PM. The focus of the keynote reading & talk will be on writing memoirs. As a faculty member at IAIA, Santa Fe, NM and UC Davis, CA, and with years of writing/publishing Houston will share her suggestions about how to write a successful memoir. Pam Houston is the author of Contents May Have Shifted, Cowboys Are My Weakness, Waltzing the Cat, Sight Hound, and a collection of essays, A Little More About Me. Her stories have been selected for volumes of Best American Short Stories, the O. Henry Awards, the 2013 Pushcart Prize, and Best American Short Stories of the Century.
