Francisco Cantu, author of “The Line Becomes a River: Dispatches from the Border” details his experiences as a border patrol agent from 2008 to 2012 in the deserts of Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. Cantu illuminates issues of border crossings/ immigration/sanctuary seekers and the toll on human lives; both physical and emotional.
