Riding primarily on dirt roads and carrying all equipment by bicycle, REANIMATOR is cycling from Salt Lake City, UT to Albuquerque, NM – facilitating free community sewing events along the way. As a collective of individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and skillsets, they are assembling for this project to raise awareness of cycling and sewing as tools for self sufficiency.
In this event, REANIMATOR will provide efficient and durable textile repairs, sewing by solar power. Repair techs will be specializing in repairing rips and holes in clothing and lightweight outdoor gear, also providing consulting for modifications and alterations within reasonable time constraints. Zipper chain / slider replacements are also available!
