In the opening scene, Luciano Pavarotti travels deep into the Amazon jungle in search of an old opera house where the great Enrico Caruso may have once sung. Created from a combination of genre-redefining performances and granted access to never-before-seen footage, the film gives audiences an intimate portrait of the most beloved opera singer of all time. Director Ron Howard salutes Pavarotti for the genius he was, and the simple man he (maybe) was.
