Jack Boaz is a violinist and songwriter. They have been described as a striking balance of controlled melodies and free-wheeling improvisation.

Since Eli Collignon first pushed down the keys on a piano, he has been exploring music and songwriting. Guided by the influence of jazz and folk, notes and words have become his moving translation of the world.

Jack and Eli will be playing a set of string-based music, collaborating on arrangements of their original work. Jack writes mostly fiddle tunes. Their writing draws inspiration from the Blues, Irish and Scottish fiddle styles. Eli is a songwriter, finding inspiration from French jazz and American songwriting traditions. Most of the tunes and songs they will be performing have been written during the pandemic, a time in which both musicians feel compelled to respond and provide a feeling of relief.
