Millicent Rogers Museum (MRM) and Taos Abstract Artist Collective (TAAC) are proud to present Channeling Luchita: A Community Response to the Life and Work of Luchita Hurtado, a collaborative exhibition and curatorial response.
This exhibition features 10 New Mexico artists whose styles and conceptual practices respond to the themes conjured in Hurtado’s artistic body of work.
This exhibition was conceived as a creative response to the Harwood Museum of Art’s exhibition “Luchita Hurtado: Earth and Sky Interjected.”
The exhibition will be presented from November 8th, 2024 – February 2nd, 2025 at the Millicent Rogers Museum.
The opening reception will be held on Friday, November 15th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm. The opening reception is free, accessible and open to the public.
