Santa Fe, NM (See description for specific location.)
Location: Mountain Cloud Zen Center, 7241 Old Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe, NM 87505
At this time when many of us may be feeling daunted and uncertain, Henry Shukman will help us tap into our shared deeper nature that meditation opens up, drawing sustenance and new perspectives.
We will be exploring breakthrough experiences — sudden shifts in how we understand and experience this life. Zen’s history is full of stories of sudden awakenings — moments when practitioners found they had broken out of familiar ways of perceiving and understanding their lives, into new ways of experiencing time, space, a profound sense of belonging, and of participating in the life of this world and all its beings.
This evening we will be exploring different ways that shifts in experience can show up, why they can be so helpful, how to encourage and invite them, and also how to integrate them into new paths of living.
