Christine Dimas, Manager of the El Prado Water and Sanitation District will speak
about her love of the water industry. As water is life, Christine will explain how she and her
women colleagues keep that lifeblood flowing in a small rural water district. Issues she’ll share include how a rural water district supports its community, the district’s interactions with the Town of Taos, demands on water resources as new developments are proposed, and how the Abeyta water settlement affects a rural water district, among other topics.
Christine was blessed to find work with the El Prado Water and Sanitation District when her first daughter had extensive medical expenses. She was happy to learn from a strong woman who revealed Christine’s love for the water
