Dorianne Laux is an author of poetry, including The Book of Men, winner of Paterson Poetry Prize, and Facts about the Moon, winner of Oregon Book Award, and co-author of the beloved textbook, The Poet’s Companion. She teaches poetry in the MFA Program at NC State University and is founding faculty at Pacific University’s Low Residency MFA Program. Only As The Day Is Long: New and Selected, is forthcoming from W.W. Norton in January 2019.

Tom Centolella is author of four books: American Book Award-winner Terra Firma, California Book Award-winner Lights & Mysteries, Views from along the Middle Way, and Dorset Prize-winner Almost Human. A former Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University, he has taught in the Bay Area for 30+ years.
