SOMOS, in collaboration with the Taos Center for the Arts (TCA) announces lecture/discussion evenings prior to three of the upcoming National Theatre productions.

Part 1: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. Lecture/discussion on Thursday Sept. 14, 2017 from 5- 6 pm at SOMOS. The play will be screened at the TCA on Saturday Sept. 16 at 11 a.m.

These discussions will be led by Carol and David Farmer who both have an extensive background in theatre and literature. The Farmers will present an overview of each production, review the main dramatic elements, background and facilitate a discussion.

Dr. David Farmer retired from SMU as director of DeGolyer Library and a faculty member in the Master of Liberal Arts Program at SMU. Carol Farmer was a drama and English teacher in the secondary schools of San Antonio and Austin, Texas.

Advance tickets to the National Theatre screenings will be available at SOMOS on the night of the lecture/discussion.
