The Taos theatre scene continues to crank out new projects, including two new companies in as many months.

The Drowsy Chaperone

The Tony-award winning The Drowsy Chaperone is a parody of the musical comedies of the 1920s. A diehard musical-theater fan plays his favorite cast album on his turntable. The musical suddenly bursts into life in his living room, telling the rambunctious tale of a brazen Broadway starlet trying to find, and keep, her true love.

Nerdy underdog meets maneating plant. Hilarity ensues. Working Class Theatre closes their season with everyone’s favorite comedy horror rock musical.

George Bailey and his friends come to life on stage at Taos Mesa Brewing. Taos Onstage, our newest local theatre company, is proud to present Joe Landry’s radio-play version of the holiday classic It’s a Wonderful Life.
