About Kiki Shakti

As a little girl, Kiki’s world was filled with glittershimmer, rainbows, unicorns and mermaids. Throughout her thorough and prolonged teenage-angst-goth-punk phase (which may have never truly ended), the glitter turned black and her darker sensibilities coagulated. This awareness combined with a great love for sci-fi and camp have been the basis for her award-winning, and sometimes controversial, films. These include Golden Framboise, a tricked-out, glam-trash space adventure in the land of camp, which won the award for Best Screenplay at the 2006 CinemaTexas Short Film Festival, the Taos Bentley Super 8 Film Festival’s Sasquatch on Skis and Bin Caught Stealing Vol’s. 1-3, and the music video for Tina and Her Pony's song, Far Away. Her latest music video, the Vajazzle, by the band Vanilla Pop, can be seen on YouTube: https://youtu.be/OTqPT0Wt7Ws.
